Borlis: passing on knowledge
Skilled in providing a specialist service and recognised by the LPV certification, Borlis' teams are naturally keen to pass on their expertise and expand their knowledge.
Each year we take on between 6 and 8 apprentices or young people - sometimes not so young - to provide in-house training:
- Each year, the Borlis design studio takes on 2 to 3 apprentices from courses covering soft materials, leather goods and design.
- The special machines and maintenance production workshop trains 2 to 3 apprentices from the automation and mechanics field.
- One or two apprentices are trained in customer contact and production management.
Borlis is also committed to taking young people on work placements
Borlis takes its local and social role seriously, regularly offering work placements to students from higher education institutions or vocational colleges and offering training in specific areas or at an introductory level.
